ABOUT

McKenna fell in love with Wedding Planning years ago, when she took her eye for interior design and detail, and stepped into wedding design and coordination at a beautiful venue in Tennessee. She began her own Wedding Planning business, coordinating over 450 weddings, traveling across the United States and living for a time in Alaska as an entrepreneur. After witnessing the grandeur of the Sierras years ago on a hiking trip, she knew her heart was always drawn to putting down roots in this gorgeous location, so she was thrilled to begin her next chapter of Wedding Planning here in the beauty of Lake Tahoe. She’s is so excited to walk this precious time of life with you and your fiancé! 

FAVORITE HOBBY

Anything outdoors! I'm a climber, hiker, and just added skydiving to my list of obsessions. Motorcycling is next!

Marissa started her adventure in the marketing and event industry in 2016, where she delved into the dynamic realm of event planning. Shifting gears to the Miami Dolphins Business Development team, she brought enthusiasm and precision to elevate large-scale events. She eventually took on the role of a wedding coordinator in Bend, Oregon, specializing in crafting dream weddings with a keen eye for detail. Recently, as the Assistant Banquet Operations Manager at Edgewood Tahoe, she continued her commitment to precision, ensuring each banquet was a seamless and memorable experience. She is THRILLED to help you execute the event of your dreams next!

As a self-proclaimed hopeless romantic, you could say that Planning weddings was always destined to be in Danielle's future. After watching every episode of "Say Yes to the Dress" and binging every Rom Com known to man kind, Wedding & Event Planning always felt like the natural career path. In 2014, Danielle started planning Events, and after planning her first Wedding in 2016, she was hooked. Since then, Danielle has helped hundreds of couples go from "Stressed to Blessed" in their wedding planning journey, both as a Wedding Planner and previous Wedding Venue Manager. She founded our sister Company "Amador Event Co" in 2021 (Wedding Planning, Design & Rentals), & expanded to bring together another team of experienced, high caliber wedding planners to help more couples in the Tahoe area & beyond.
